TftM is a blog created to share my passion for Technology and Innovation with a diverse audience. This blog is suited for everyday people – not only "tech geeks" – although I think even some of them will find some common ground here. Through this medium I can share my knowledge, experience, and insights in any related areas of technology, which can include gadgets, gaming, networking, learning IT, or personal computing.
It is important to keep in mind is that I am looking to reach a large audience of tech hungry or even tech shy people. The truth is that the majority of people do not understand Technology as it is presented to them! In my experience this audience ranges in extremes to all kinds of people with one core thing in common: They want to learn IT, but are often intimidated by it.
Through this blog, I hope to alleviate some of those frustrations and have fun at the same time.
So Hello and Welcome again! I am James, the writer who’s responsible for providing you with the material you’ll be reading in this blog. Apart from managing this blog, I lead a very fun and diverse (and Multi-tasked!) life. I’m currently an IT Consultant who lives in paradise, while providing a host of services to my clients – such as server engineering, networking, repair, software integration, and systems analysis. I have been breaking (and fixing) technology since I was a young kid, later I obtained a B.S. in Information Systems, and now have certification as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Comptia A+.
My personal interests involve writing, enjoying nature, scuba diving, reading, spending time with good company, and of course my biggest passion – Information Technology.
My academic interests, of course, have followed greatly with Technology. At an early age I was drawn to IT, but another area I was drawn to was Applied Psychology and Human Relations. In the end, it was always important for me to be able to APPLY whatever it is I learned – otherwise, there was no sense learning anything in the first place. In this part of my life I’ve become deeply interested in the application of technology in business environments, streamlining business processes, and managing innovation or Information Technology.
Anyway, that is enough about me – What’s most important is YOU!
You as a reader and subscriber will be the most integral part of this blog! I hope through my articles, reviews, and information that I can change Information Technology into something fun and rewarding for the common computer user.
